Every “Birthday Party Show” is geared to the age of the children. Age ranges are: 4 to 6, 6 to 8, 8 to 10, and 10 to 12. We recommend you wait until the child is at least 4 years of age for a magic show, unless the guests are older. For children over 12, I would recommend the "Young Adult" Package. During the magic show, the birthday child becomes the magician’s assistant. This makes them the star of the show. Traditionally, we make a special balloon hat for the birthday child with as many balloons as they are old. After the show, the children receive their very own balloon creation to take home with them, as well as some fun promotional gifts.

The magic show for the classic package is about 30 minutes long. It is a
high-energy show designed to get the children excited. During the magic show, the birthday child

The magic show for the Deluxe Package is also high energy, and lasts
for approximately 45 action packed minutes. During the magic show, the
birthday child becomes the magician’s assistant. We will even do a
special illusion by magically either suspending the birthday child in mid
air, or making their head vanish
from their body. (Some restrictions apply click
here). This makes them the star of the show.
Traditionally, we make a special balloon hat for the birthday child with
as many balloons as they are old. We also provide a "Mr. Luis Magic and
Balloon Set" for the birthday child. It is full of exciting easy to learn
magic tricks. Some tricks can be performed right out of the package, while
others may require some practice first. After the show, all the children

Young Adult Birthday Party Package...
"What can you do for teenagers" you ask? They enjoy magic too!
The show we do for 13 to 16
year olds uses more sophisticated material than for the younger children.
It challenges their analytical abilities in a fun way. And yes, they also
get a humongous balloon hat with as many balloons as they are old! We also
do a major illusion with the birthday "young adult" by strapping their
neck in a stock and cutting their head off with a jig saw!(Some

Balloon Birthday Bash Party Package...
OK! We had a request, so we put this package together.
This show is a demonstration of creativity and skill. This package consists of tying a host of high end,
multi-balloon sculptures. It lasts approximately 60 minutes and all the balloons are given away as
prizes. The birthday child gets a special balloon costume, plus first choice of any balloon created at the party.
Here is what we do. First, a balloon house is created, (with the kids help), just about big enough
to fit all the children at the party! Have your cameras ready cause that is what we will do, fit all
the kids in the balloon house for a picture! Then, we will start making lots of High End, multi balloon
sculptures and tossing them into the house. I'm not talking swords and hearts, I'm talking a mermaid,
a spider dude, a flightless desert bird - (figure that one out!), and many others. We even make a special
balloon costume for the birthday child that is so big, you'd think they can fly away like a pterodactyl! Then
door prize tickets are given to the kids and the drawing begins. Each child will choose a balloon from what was
created until they each have one. If there are balloons left over, we keep drawing until they are all gone.
NOTE: This package is not a "name a balloon and you can take it home" kind of a thing. We only make
one of each item, but we make lots of different things. (For example, if all the boys wanted a T-Rex,
this package would become a balloon set-up and not a show). In other words, the Balloon Birthday Bash

Temporary Airbrush Tattoo Party Package...
Sometimes, a little goes a long way.
If you prefer to have our Face And Body Temporary Airbrush Tattoos as the main entertainment, then that's what you will get.
This activity is so popular with the kids, they will have the time of their lives. And it is safe because we use the water
based, hypoallergenic makeup paint that washes off with soap and water. If you like, we can even add some basic balloon
sculptures along with it.

Temporary Airbrush Tattoos/ "TAT's"
The most popular package enhancement we have now is the new Face And Body Temporary Airbrush Tattoos. We call it "FAB-TAT-stic Art". It is the latest thing in High End Face Painting, Body Art and Temporary Tattoos. Airbrush art is also faster than paint brushes so can accommodate a larger number of people in less time. Not only the children enjoy the fun selections of temporary airbrush tattoos, the adults like to plunge into their fantasies too! Loot Bags
You may add the option of loot bags to any package. The loot bags have 5 little magic tricks,
some magic instructions and some promotional material. It comes in a printed loot bag. We try to
bring more bags than the number of guests expected, but you only pay for the exact number used.

Personalized DVD
We have a "NO VIDEO RECORDING" policy at all of our magic shows due to use of copyright material. However, we can offer you a personalized DVD of your child's birthday magic show. We bring in the video cameras, set them up and tape the entire show from different angles. Then it is edited to comply with copyrights, add graphics, sub-titles, special effects, sound effects, etc. just like the big studios. The end result is a high quality production of a very special day in your child's life. I just want to inform you that the editing process is very lengthy and it may take a while before I have your DVD ready, depending on how many shows/projects I have in the waiting.
Balloon Twisting DVD for Beginners
Learn to make your own balloons creations with our Balloon Twisting DVD. This DVD provides progressive learning instructions starting with the basics. Learn to make 27 different one balloon figures and animals like a basic sword, and working up to a Teddy bear and French poodle. Luis' lighting fast knot is also explained in detail. Package...
We have lots of fun here. Walking around and mingling with the crowd, Close-Up magic involves
lots of audience interaction. The props used are so close to you that you can reach up and touch
them. And often you're asked to do so. Props range from the popular deck
of playing cards to things like coins, balls and even something borrowed
from you like a dollar bill or a finger ring. The illusions are so mystical, you
would not believe it could happen if you did not see it for your self. Balloon gifts
are also incorporated to create many magical memories.

When booking an A-1 Magic show for your event, you can contact us via
e-mail, snail mail or telephone. We recommend that
you contact us at least two months in advance in order to guarantee your
date. We can also book a show at the last minute
provided we have an opening.
In this case, we recommend that you have two or more possible
dates and times in mind that we can work with. That way, we will be more
likely to be able to accommodate your needs. If you need to secure a
location for your event, call several places to find out their
availability first, then call us to see which date and time we can do.
This little bit of homework on your part will assure a more exciting and
memorable event.

Restrictions for "Chair Suspension" levitation.
1) Should be a child between the ages of four and twelve years old,
2) Total body weight under 95 pounds,
3) Total height less than 54 inches (4' 6"),
4) We prefer to perform it indoors or on a solid floor only.
Restrictions for Jig saw Illusion.
Jig saw illusion not recommended for children under 12 years old.
Restrictions for Balloon Birthday Bash Party Package.
A) Adequate adult supervision for performances involving balloons and/or small toys is required.
B) Due to the nature of balloons, this show is performed Indoors Only.
C) Not recommended for young children who are inclined to put things in their mouths.
